Qualification and experience required:

  • Degree in education or Degree in suitable subject area + significant experience in education + willingness to commit to education degree courses.
  • Ability to teach/communicate fluently in English (Native English)
  •  At least 5 years teaching experience, preferable the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Able to work in a team or individually
  • Honest, creative, responsible and willing to learn
  • Current Visa restrictions apply, applicants should be under the age of 50.

School Facilities We are located in the northern hills of Bandung just 130 kilometers from Jakarta. Our brand new campus sits on 7 hectares of spacious land amid the beautiful rice terraces. Curriculum SMN uses international curricula from the University of Cambridge and theInternational Baccalaureate Organization to educate our students. In addition, we incorporate the Houghton Mifflin Reading program from America and Math from Singapore to maintain a high level of student proficiency. To meet the requirements for accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Education, we offer Religion, Indonesian Language and Indonesian Civics & Citizenship.

Bandung is the capital city of West Java, and the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. Nicknamed Parijs van Java (Paris of Java) by the Dutch for its resemblance to Paris and European atmosphere back in colonial times, Bandung also earned another nickname as Kota Kembang, literally meaning the Flower City since Bandung used to have a lot of flowers.  

   
Being located at the altitude of 768m and surrounded by the lush and beautiful Parahyangan mountains makes the climate mild and pleasant. The city has been well known for its universities, fashionable clothing and as a great place for gastronomic adventure. Nowadays, Bandung has become a very popular weekend escape for Jakartans, who would crowd the city on weekends and national holidays.
