Cost of Living

You can live like a king in Armenia on “western” middle-class wages, even in the most exclusive neighborhoods of its capital city. According Xpatulator’s July 2016 report, the cost of living in Yerevan (where most expats live) is well below the international average. This is evident with a number of goods and services such as groceries, restaurants, alcohol and Internet service. Housing accommodations and furnishings, however, are more on the pricey end. Still, the western expat should come out ahead and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.
